Job Description

The Logistics Controller plays a key role in driving supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing key logistics KPIs including inventory (DIO), logistics costs, delivery performance.

Job description:

  • Track, analyze, and report logistics KPIs such as inventory (DIO), logistics cost, delivery performance
  • Coordinate with related functions to plan inventory and logistics cost according to timeline of business plan (BPx), current forecast (CFx)
  • Identify variances from targets and root causes, find measures with logistics managers / planners and ensure implementing measures to achieve given target
  • Plans, steers and monitors logistics targets, develops proactively suggestions for target achievement
  • Support to analyze and calculate measures / projects contribution towards cost saving, inventory reduction and etc.
  • Monitor raw material, Work In Process (WIP), finished goods inventory level and Red stock (block / dead / excessive stock) to ensure meeting given target
  • Coordinate with logistics managers and planners to optimize inventory while minimizing Red stock
  • Analyze logistics cost for each cost elements and support logistics cost planning and forecasting.
  • Monitor logistics cost (transportation, packaging, external service provider, etc) and coordinate with logistics managers / planners to optimize logistics cost by suggesting and developing suitable measures
  • Support lean logistics and cost-reduction projects (e.g., RPP, system Continuous Improvement Projects)
  • Work closely with in/external stakeholder (Cost Controlling, GS/OSDx, GB/LOG, Logistics Service Providers, etc.) to ensure KPI alignment and achievement.
  • Provides trustfully decision relevant information / recommendation to Logistics Head of Department and plant managements
  • Efficiently carries out reporting with cutting-edge methods to gain insights (e.g. digitalized dashboards, Predictive analysis, alert-based tools, AI-based forecasts etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations analysis. - Logistics Planner, Logistics Material Flow, LOG-Controlling and Digitization (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or digital similar tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills experience working with cross-functional teams.
