Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Logistics Specialist at Atotech Thailand, you will partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Operations, and Customer Service to support and optimize logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and vendor coordination. In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Data Analysis: Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting logistics data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Reporting: Creating regular reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies in logistics workflows and contributing to initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting forecasting activities.
  • Vendor Management: Assisting in the evaluation, selection, and relationship management of logistics vendors and service providers.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring accuracy and completeness of logistics documentation, including customs records and compliance certificates.
  • Systems and Tools: Using logistics software to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyze performance; supporting system upgrades or implementations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams to coordinate logistics activities and resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Training and Development: Engaging in learning opportunities to build expertise in logistics and supply chain management.

Skills You Bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret logistics data and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) for inventory tracking, order processing, and logistics coordination.
  • Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations, especially relevant to chemical or manufacturing industries.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory control, demand planning, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English, to collaborate effectively with internal teams, global stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation, compliance records, and inventory data.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, with a proactive approach to professional development in logistics and supply chain management.
