Logistics Supply Chain Specialist

Position : Supply Chain & Logistic Specialist

Work Location : Bangplee, Samut Prakan, Thailand

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to join our clients dynamic team in the coating industry. This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, production planning, transportation, and distribution within Thailand and other region. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of logistics strategies, supplier management, and industry-specific compliance to support efficient and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement creating POs/PRs for intercompany in SAP, logistics, inventory control, demand forecasting, and warehousing.

Collaborate closely with manufacturing and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of raw materials, components, and finished products.

Monitor and improve logistics performance indicators such as lead times, delivery accuracy, and freight costs.

Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to the transport and storage of chemical coatings.

Implement supply chain best practices and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high service levels.

Coordinate production planning in line with customer demands, forecasts, and inventory levels.

Manage customs clearance procedures and documentation for imports and exports.

Utilize systems for supply chain data analysis and reporting.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and risk management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 57 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles, preferably in the coatings, chemical, or manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of logistics, import/export regulations, and warehouse operations.

Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in English and Thai (both written and spoken).

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
