Job Summary
Ichikoh Industries (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee to support our logistics operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in an international manufacturing environment, learning about supply chain management, warehousing, and transportation within the automotive industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, including preparing documentation and tracking orders.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock checks, cycle counts, and data entry into the ERP system.
- Learn and apply company procedures for warehousing, material handling, and customs clearance.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Production, Procurement) to ensure smooth material flow and delivery schedules.
- Assist in identifying and resolving logistics-related issues and discrepancies.
- Participate in data analysis to identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to logistics operations.
- Undertake training and development activities as required to enhance logistics knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Fluency in Thai and a good command of English (both written and spoken).
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career in logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in logistics or a manufacturing setting is a plus.
