We are looking for an experienced Project M&E Coordinator to support major LTA / infrastructure projects in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising Mechanical & Electrical works from installation through testing, commissioning, and project handover, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, LTA requirements, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise M&E activities to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with LTA, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and relevant authorities on design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, technical specifications, and related documentation.
- Monitor site progress and ensure M&E installations comply with approved drawings, project requirements, Singapore Standards, and statutory regulations.
- Manage interfaces between M&E, civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, site clashes, and coordination challenges.
- Coordinate and supervise inspections, testing, commissioning, system integration, and final handover.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC, WSH, environmental, and project quality requirements.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.
- Attend project and technical coordination meetings and provide M&E support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant M&E coordination experience, preferably within LTA, MRT, rail, transportation, or major infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Good technical knowledge of M&E systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with LTA specifications, Singapore Standards, authority requirements, and local statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant project management tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Candidates with hands-on experience supporting LTA or major infrastructure projects will be highly preferred.
