M&E Coordinator

Job Description

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on M&E matters.
• Review M&E shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical or site coordination issues promptly.
• Coordinate M&E installations with architectural, structural, and civil works to prevent clashes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on M&E progress and issues.
• Plan and coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with local codes, statutory requirements, and company quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overall project execution.

Job Requirement

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Related Fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination for building or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction practices, and local regulations.
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant construction software.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in HDB BTO projects is preferred.
