Machine Learning and AI Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for an AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy LLM-powered solutions. You'll work independently to take concepts from proof-of-concept through to production, collaborating closely with our development team to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems.

What You'll Do

Design and implement LLM-based applications and agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and tool orchestration using frameworks like LangGraph or similar.

Build and optimize RAG pipelines and information retrieval systems

Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI

Build data engineering solutions including ETL pipelines and end-to-end data workflows

Develop and deploy ML/DL models for document extraction and related tasks

Create production-ready solutions from initial POCs

Required Qualifications

Backend & Infrastructure

Strong proficiency in Python

Proven experience designing and building backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI

Solid understanding of Docker and containerized application deployment

Data Engineering & Databases

Hands-on experience building data engineering solutions, including ETL pipelines and end-to-end data workflows

Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data modeling, storage, and retrieval

Machine Learning & Deep Learning

Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning principles

Experience developing and deploying ML/DL models to production, particularly for document extraction

Generative AI

Practical experience with LLMs, NLP, and generative AI techniques

Proven ability to design and implement RAG systems and information retrieval pipelines

Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar libraries

Working Style

Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Comfortable taking projects from POC through to production

Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with traditional development teams

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building lightweight user interfaces using rapid prototyping frameworks
