Job Description
- Research and develop deep learning and computer vision algorithms, particularly for OCR and image-based tasks.
- Collaborate with the data team to acquire and label high-quality image/text datasets.
- Work closely with the development team to deploy and integrate models into real-world applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
- 35 years of full-time work experience in machine learning or computer vision.
- Strong proficiency in Python and popular ML/DL frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands-on experience with OCR tools/libraries such as Tesseract, EasyOCR, or custom CNN architectures for text detection and recognition.
- Familiarity with image processing techniques and computer vision tasks such as object detection, segmentation, and augmentation.
- Experience training models with large-scale image datasets and using tools like OpenCV.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or deploying web-based ML services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a self-starter, and able to work independently.
