Job Description
- Lead and manage the engineering team to achieve operational targets, project goals, and overall organisational objectives.
- Oversee engineering project management, ensuring projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise production processes, enhance efficiency, and support automation initiatives.
- Drive the adoption and integration of automation technologies to improve productivity, consistency, and operational performance.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability, maximise uptime, and minimise unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions and support continuous improvement across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in engineering and maintenance activities.
- Manage and monitor the engineering budget, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to team members to strengthen capabilities and elevate performance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on engineering performance, project progress, automation initiatives, and maintenance activities to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience in Maintenance, Engineering Project Management, and Automation processes within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong peoplemanagement capability and solid business acumen.
