Shopee Express is looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and availability of our logistics facilities and operational equipment. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, driving preventive maintenance programs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our nationwide logistics network.
Job Description
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for logistics equipment and facility systems.
- Ensure maximum uptime of operational equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, dock equipment, forklifts, and material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring issues.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance activities and manage emergency breakdown responses.
- Monitor equipment performance, maintenance KPIs, and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Operations teams to minimize operational disruptions during maintenance activities.
- Manage external contractors and service providers to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance.
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle.
- Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and upgrades of new equipment and automation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, engineering standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, and equipment performance analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance engineering, facility engineering, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or industrial operations.
- Experience maintaining conveyors, automation systems, material handling equipment, or warehouse machinery is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience managing maintenance contractors and vendors.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings..
- Good project management and communication skills.
