Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading maintenance tasks for our Data Centres and supervising in-house staff, vendors, and contractors, to ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment. This position requires strong technical expertise and hands-on involvement to protect asset value, ensure system reliability, and deliver high-quality operations in a critical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Overall Lead for maintenance task assigned and monitor performance of assigned responsibilities. Perform repair and/or troubleshoot to ensure that work performed in critical environment is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption to customer.
- Follow up with adequate clean up and subsequently, inspection to ensure continuous trouble-free operation.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and inspection of assigned critical environment systems, including mechanical, electrical, cabling, fire and life safety, BMS, and related digital security systems.
- Responsible for inspecting and signing off on maintenance work performed by vendors or OEMs, ensuring compliance with approved method statements.
- Oversees the Change Control process, including third-party contractors, to ensure safe and compliant operation, and modification of critical equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Leads onsite technical support, guiding root cause analysis with vendors, and provides direction to team members during new facilities testing and commissioning in coordination with the project team.
- Deliver all maintenance tasks for customer's service level agreement always comply to the SLA
- Monitor work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on critical systems.
- Performs all work in accordance with the Safety Program, complies with company policies and local regulations on hazardous materials, and maintains a clean and safe workplace.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory laws and guidelines related to building infrastructure operations and work deliveries, and promptly reports any discrepancies to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field with min. 5 years of relevant work experience in Data Centre environment or Hi-tech factory/plant (e.g., semi-conductor).
- Proficient in Thai and English through all mediums of communication. Ability to write and review good quality detailed work scripts, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures. Prepare incident report.
- Good knowledge of all laws that govern building management and maintenance, including building safety, emergency evacuation and environment protection.
- Technical knowledge with hands on knowledge/experience and understanding of critical data center systems, including HVAC, Standby emergency power, uninterruptible power supplies, and associated infrastructure.
- Proficient in computer applications and software, including commercial computerized maintenance management systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Requires working out of office hours as technical support, 24/7 support to site operation team. To be onsite for incident support.
