Maintenance Manager (Tooling Maintenance, Mold Services, Plastic Injection)

Salary: 90,000 – 95,000 THB as total package
Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead tooling maintenance and service operations for high-volume manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tooling maintenance activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring tooling reliability, and developing team capabilities to support production efficiency, quality, and cost targets.
- Lead and manage the tooling services and maintenance team to support serial production, tooling transfers, and new tooling projects.
- Develop resource planning strategies, monitor department budgets, and optimize maintenance costs while ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Act as a technical expert in tooling-related problem solving, implementing structured methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance programs to improve tooling performance and reliability.
- Coordinate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and improvement projects to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop in-house tooling capabilities, including mold fitting, repair, modification, cavity expansion, and tool optimization activities.
- Ensure tooling activities are completed according to quality standards, project timelines, and cost objectives.
- Lead initiatives to improve tooling management systems through digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Implement and maintain tooling management databases, performance monitoring tools, and predictive maintenance systems.
- Establish and maintain procedures, work instructions, and documentation related to tooling maintenance and services.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and project teams to support business objectives and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in tooling maintenance, Mold services, or plastic injection manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection Molds, tooling maintenance processes, and Mold troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in leading maintenance teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or equivalent standards.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and tooling lifecycle management.
