Job Summary
The Management Trainee – Finance supports the Finance team in daily accounting operations while participating in a structured development program designed to build knowledge of hotel finance and accounting practices.
The role provides exposure to financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, and business partnering in accordance with USALI, corporate standards, and Thai accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities under the guidance of the Finance leadership team.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules in accordance with USALI, corporate standards, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist in preparing balance sheet reconciliations and ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
• Support financial analysis by comparing actual results with budget and forecast, and assist in preparing variance explanations.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with Thai accounting standards, VAT, withholding tax (WHT), social security, and other statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit requests.
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Rotate through key Finance functions, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Cost Control, and Purchasing, to gain a comprehensive understanding of hotel finance operations.
Other Responsibilities
• Assist in maintaining finance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Build effective working relationships with operational departments to support financial controls and business performance.
• Participate in finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives, and corporate reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Finance Department and overall hotel operations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles is required.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS, SunSystems, or other ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
Experience
• Internship or previous experience in accounting, finance, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Thai tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to develop professionally through structured training, coaching, and cross-functional exposure.
