This role focuses on supporting premium growth, strengthening agent engagement, and delivering operational and technical support for the Agency Commercial Line. This role in engage with training, underwriting, and servicing agents.
- Support the achievement of Gross Written Premium (GWP) targets and portfolio profitability
- Conduct visitation and network with intermediaries to enhance business relationship
- Conduct trainings to intermediaries
- Support renewal reviews and follow-up to ensure timely policy renewals and monitor renewal retention
- Participate in credit control and premium collection follow-up
- Assist in business development activities such as joint field visits and pipeline tracking
- Underwrite risks and provide quotations within assigned authority limits, in line with company underwriting guidelines and treaty terms
- Take accountability for identifying and managing business and regulatory compliance risks, and implement appropriate mitigation measures
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proactively highlight potential risks or concerns and share best practices in risk management
- Supporting any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Diploma and/or professional qualifications such as ANZII / ACII.
- Certifications in General Insurance (e.g. BCP, ComGI, PGI) and Health Insurance.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in general insurance or agency management.
- Strong underwriting knowledge and agency channel experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships effectively.
- Results-driven, meticulous, and a strong team player.
