Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Manager – Business Development (MICE & Corporate Sales) to drive business growth by acquiring new corporate clients and expanding Viattra's presence in the corporate travel and MICE industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network within corporate organizations, experience selling travel solutions, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients for travel management and MICE services.
- Generate business through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through CRM.
- Develop business with SMEs, large enterprises, startups, educational institutions, and government organizations.
Corporate Travel Sales
- Promote end-to-end corporate travel management solutions.
- Pitch domestic and international business travel services.
- Offer customized travel programs that optimize cost, compliance, and traveler experience.
- Identify opportunities for annual travel contracts and preferred vendor partnerships.
MICE Sales
- Generate business for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions.
- Understand client objectives and propose tailored MICE solutions.
- Coordinate with operations to deliver seamless execution of corporate events and incentive travel programs.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs, HR Heads, Admin Heads, Procurement Teams, Travel Desk Managers, and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.
- Drive repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
Proposal & Negotiation
- Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver competitive and profitable solutions.
Market Intelligence
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging corporate travel opportunities.
- Recommend strategies to enhance Viattra's market positioning and service offerings.
Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Present business performance updates to leadership.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Sales, Travel Sales, MICE Sales, or Business Development.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate accounts.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel management and MICE operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
