Role Purpose
The Corporate Planning & Strategy Office (CPSO) acts as the company's strategic nerve center integrating strategy, finance, performance, research, and communication into one coherent corporate view.
This role serves as a single source of truth and center of insight, supporting senior management with fact-based analysis, structured research, and clear executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Planning & Strategy
- Support annual budget, rolling forecast, and multi-year strategic planning
- Translate corporate strategy into financial targets, KPIs, and execution priorities
- Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and business impact analysis
- Host key strategic sessions and collaborative with relevant functions to ensure success
Performance & Business Analysis
- Identify root causes and support action tracking with business owners
- Evaluate business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives
Management Reporting & Communication Excellence
- Own end-to-end management reporting for ExCom / senior leadership
- Deliver clear, concise, and consistent strategic narratives (not just numbers)
- Align messages across Finance, PMO, Commercial, and Operations
- Ensure one unified corporate story for performance and strategy discussions
Corporate Research & Insight Center
- Act as an internal research center for strategy and business insights
- Conduct market, competitor, industry, and macro-trend research
- Synthesize external research and internal data into management-ready insights
- Support leadership with fact-based perspectives for decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor or master degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related fields
- 47 years experience in Corporate Planning / Strategy / FP&A or Management Consulting
- Finance and/or consulting background strongly preferred
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or complex multi-business organizations is a plus
