Job Description

  • Job Purpose:

The Manager Digital will be responsible for leading technology strategy, solutions architecture design, system architecture, technical design, and developer team. This role ensures scalable, high-performance, and secure technology solutions that support business growth while continuously optimizing the technology stack. The position demands deep expertise in cloud computing, microservices, API-driven development, DevOps automation, and modern software engineering best practices, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy, Architecture & Design

  • Define scalable, high-performance architectures for applications and services, including comprehensive solutions architecture and technical design.
  • Ensure stability, maintainability, and future-proofing of the existing tech stack while introducing innovative, cost-effective, and performance-optimized solutions.
  • Make architectural decisions that optimize performance, security, scalability, and maintainability across the full stack.
  • Lead stack optimization initiatives, ensuring technology components remain current, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and recommend cutting-edge technology solutions.
  • Architect and oversee cloud-native or hybrid-cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Software Development & Engineering Excellence

  • Guide and mentor development teams in coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce development processes, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Drive agile development methodologies to enhance team productivity and software reliability.
  • Ensure best practices in security, performance optimization, and fault tolerance.
  • Oversee API design and data management strategies (SQL, NoSQL, REST, GraphQL).

DevOps, CI/CD, & Automation

  • Partner closely with DevOps from design to deployment, aligning architectural decisions with operational needs.
  • Collaborate on IaC for event-driven services, message brokers (Kafka/Pulsar), and CEP platforms.
  • Design robust observability (monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing) for real-time pipelines.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated and safe deployments.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Project Execution

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Own and manage technical roadmaps, timelines, and resource planning to align with business goals.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and external partners.
  • Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of system architecture, APIs, and technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a digital in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry or a related sector.
  • Strong experience in software architecture, system design, and microservices
  • Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Golang, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in frontend frameworks (Flutter, Native, React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Experience in API design (REST, GraphQL) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Solid grasp of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices.
  • Best-in-class digital experience and knowledge, with a deep understanding of business, agile, design thinking and technology.
  • Experience in managing tech teams and driving business outcomes especially in high dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business teams
