Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage the operations and maintenance of all facilities and landscape areas within the Country Club premises, ensuring that all infrastructures, green spaces, and recreational zones are safe, functional, aesthetically maintained, and aligned with the organization's standards. This role also supports internal events and corporate image through effective space and service readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilities Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, utilities (electrical, plumbing), and recreational areas to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Coordinate with in-house technicians and external contractors for timely and efficient maintenance work.
  • Monitor and maintain safety systems such as CCTV, fire exits, emergency lighting, etc.

2. Landscape Management & Cleanliness

  • Supervise landscaping activities including gardening, lawn care, pruning, and decorative elements.
  • Ensure cleanliness and environmental standards of all outdoor areas, sports fields, and garden zones.
  • Plan seasonal and thematic enhancements for landscape aesthetics aligned with brand image.

3. People & Vendor Management

  • Lead and manage internal teams including facility officers, housekeeping, gardeners, and groundskeepers.
  • Monitor and evaluate outsourced service providers such as security, pest control, and cleaning contractors.
  • Handle workforce planning, shift scheduling, and training for operational staff.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Develop and manage budgets related to facilities maintenance, landscaping, supplies, and contractor services.
  • Track expenditures and implement cost-effective practices without compromising quality.
  • Prepare regular reports and financial summaries for senior management.

5. Event & Space Readiness Support

  • Ensure all spaces are properly maintained and prepared for internal and external events (e.g., wellness events, CSR activities, sports days).
  • Coordinate with other departments for site setup, maintenance, and restoration after events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Facility Management, Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in facilities and landscape operations, preferably in large-scale properties or mixed-use environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision and contractor management.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure systems and basic engineering principles.
  • Proficient in budgeting, cost tracking, and report preparation.
  • Familiarity with FM systems or digital maintenance tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, service orientation, and organizational skills.
