Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise external interior design consultants to ensure timely and high-quality output.
- Act as the main liaison between outsourced designers, project stakeholders, architects, and contractors.
- Review and comment on design proposals, drawings, material boards, and specifications to ensure consistency with the overall project vision.
- Develop and manage design schedules, deliverables, and review cycles.
- Ensure interior designs reflect the project's retail-led identity, brand values, and customer experience goals.
- Monitor compliance with design guidelines, sustainability goals, and budgetary controls.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, tenants, and consultants on design progress.
- Support leasing and tenant coordination teams by reviewing tenant design submissions for consistency with overall development standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design management, preferably within retail-led developments.
- Strong track record of managing outsourced interior designers and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
- Knowledge of retail planning, mall operations, and mixed-use development design requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in design coordination tools, project scheduling, and industry-standard software.
