Manager - Investment Analyst

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide analytical and research support for Asia equity strategies.

• Support coverage across Asian markets, including India, Korea, Greater China, ASEAN, and Australia.

• Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support investment decisions.

• Monitor and review existing portfolio holdings, ensuring timely updates and actionable insights.

• Generate new research ideas.

• Draft comprehensive research reports and present to broader investment teams.

• Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts across sectors and geographies to facilitate channel checks and new ideas generation.

• Prepare marketing presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Participate in and contribute to marketing efforts of the firm as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Manager 5-7 years of relevant experience.

• Prior equity research experience in sell-side or buy-side.

• Willing to be a generalist, covering a wide range of stocks across different countries and sectors.

• Previous experience of covering Indian stocks would be a plus.

• Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethic, and drive for excellence.

• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and valuation modelling.

• Ability to interpret macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics for market research.

• Skilled in Bloomberg and Excel (including advanced functions).

• Expertise in creating impactful reports and presentations using PowerPoint and data visualisation tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid understanding of compliance requirements and investment guidelines.

• Exposure to ESG analysis and data-driven research techniques (AI/quant tools) is a plus.

• Collaborative team player, receptive to feedback and able to provide constructive input.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking new investment ideas and opportunities.

• Experience covering India and/or Korea would be a plus.

• Not required, but language proficiency in Chinese or Korean also a plus.
