Manager – Investment-Linked Product Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Investment-Linked Product Consultant to serve as a specialized advisor in Unit Linked solutions. In this role, you will help clients and business partners combine life insurance protection with investment opportunities, providing tailored financial planning and investment recommendations based on individual risk profiles and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted financial advisor representing Generali Thailand by assessing clients financial objectives, risk appetite, and investment needs to recommend suitable Unit Linked insurance solutions.
- Promote and influence the adoption of Unit Linked concepts by positioning Unit Linked products as part of an effective asset allocation strategy aligned with different client profiles and financial objectives. (30%)
- Provide investment advisory services on fund allocation, including asset allocation recommendations, portfolio monitoring, and portfolio rebalancing guidance based on Unit Linked premium allocation.
- Educate clients and partners on market conditions, investment risks, and the nature of Unit Linked products, including the absence of guaranteed investment returns. (30%)
- Advise clients on appropriate protection planning by recommending suitable levels of life, health, and critical illness coverage that align with their overall financial and investment strategies. (10%)
- Deliver ongoing consultation and servicing support, including annual portfolio reviews, policy management guidance, premium payment support, and fund switching consultations. (15%)
- Ensure all recommendations and advisory activities comply with applicable insurance regulations, investment regulations, and licensing requirements, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements where applicable. (10%)
- Support other initiatives and responsibilities related to investment-linked product advisory services as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Marketing, or related fields.
- Investment Planner License is required; CFP certification would be an advantage.
- Experience in Asset Management or investment-related businesses, particularly in fund advisory or fund marketing.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products, especially Unit Linked products.
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build credibility and trust with clients and business partners.
- Valid insurance agent license and Unit Linked certification, or SEC Investment Consultant license.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, asset allocation principles, and financial planning tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex investment concepts in a clear and practical manner.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.
