This position is responsible for IT Cloud and FinOps Operationproviding support of ongoing project initiatives and business as usual for the organization.
Job Scopes:
- Contribute to defining KTAXA Cloud Operation Strategy.
- Provision, operating, and maintaining Cloud with highly available systems.
- Capacity planning, monitoring, optimizing, and operating (Day-2) on Cloud.
- Manage incidents, changes and ensure Asset & Configuration Management are properly created and maintain as policy.
- Responsible to drive FinOps function including monitor, forecast, detect with alert unusual increase, optimize cloud consumption costs, and reconcile cloud consumption costs (new/ongoing project and business as usual)
- Creating and maintaining documents for FinOps and cloud operation and related processes.
- Understand and familiar with knowledge on AWS Cloud services, network and security.
- Working together with Head of Cloud Operation and Cloud Operation Lead to plan and synergy with KTAXA direction.
- Work with many teams (AXA GO, Cloud Broker, FinOps Global Team, Development team, Application Owners, Architecture, and related Team) to monitoring, modify, make recommendation to ensure FinOps and operation work smoothly and support the organization's needs.
Qualifications:
- Typically require a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline with Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field.
- Experience in IT Roles with at least 5 years of proven IT Cloud Operations is mandatory.
- Having Finance background & experience in FinOps E.g. FinOps Certified Practitioner, Cost Management & Finance is a plus
- Familiar with knowledge of building, managing and operating of IaaS, PaaS, IaC (Terraform) together with basic knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline.
- Understanding and experience in Cloud (AWS, OpenShift, etc.)
- Experience in decision making and negotiation with senior stakeholders in terms of driving cost optimization strategies.
- Having experience in leading cost forecast to support budgeting process.
- Strong experience in Cloud Service Consumption Modelling tools in a large-scale IT infrastructure and application environment.
- Understands cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges.
- Understanding of baselining costs, functionality trade-offs & total cost of ownership for cloud resources. (show-backs, chargebacks, benefit tracking)
- Knowledge of technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and security, database (query).
- Good English skills for verbal, written, listener & reading in Business Level.
