Job Description for Pilot Line Manager
We are seeking an experienced Pilot Line and Sample Plating Specialist to join our Technical Center team. In this role, you will manage and execute all activities related to pilot lines and sample plating processes, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with company strategies. This position is critical to supporting innovation and delivering high-quality solutions for our customers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pilot Line Operations Organize and execute all tasks related to pilot lines and sample plating processes to meet defined performance targets (KPIs).
- Equipment Management
- Oversee daily management, calibration, and maintenance of pilot line equipment
- Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with ISO standards.
- Sample Plating Support
- Coordinate and support sample plating work in pilot lines
- Assisting the business team in introduction of new processes and resolving process-related issues.
- Asset Investment Projects Complete fixed asset investment projects for pilot lines according to schedule and in line with business requirements and company strategy.
- Procedures and Reporting Lead or participate in the preparation and revision of operating procedures and HSE documents for pilot lines and submit timely work reports.
- Safety Compliance
- Ensure all activities are performed safely and in accordance with laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture when interacting with employees and contractors and guarantee compliance across team and departmental activities.
- Additional Responsibilities Perform other tasks as assigned by the Technical Center Manager (supervisor)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Surface Treatment, or related fields.
Minimum 8 years in chemical or related industries. Knowledge of pilot line operations, wastewater treatment processes, and electroplating industry experience preferred.
At least 3 years of team management experience (3+ team members).
Excellent work ethic and professionalism. Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills. Holistic view and ability to work effectively as a team player.
Native speaker of local language and good English proficiency (reading, writing, listening, speaking).

- Strong technical knowledge of plating processes and pilot line operations.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and calibration. Ability to manage projects and adhere to timelines.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and SAP system.
