Manager/ Senior Manager, Data Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Business Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making across various departments within the organization. You will also leverage on latest AI technologies to drive innovation and workplace productivity improvement. You will play a crucial role in utilizing data to optimize revenue generation, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience at The Kallang. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, AI, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sports and entertainment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Planning and Prioritize Analytics Use Cases:

• Provide analytical support for strategic planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytics use cases and prioritize based on business impact.
• Lead end-to-end development of prioritized use cases, including project initialization, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and initiatives through rigorous analysis and measurement of key performance indicators.

Business Analytics, Report and Visualization:

• Work with business stakeholders to standardize data definitions, business performance tracking mechanisms, improve data quality and implement data governance framework.
• Work with data engineering team to identify the data source and design the optimal data structure for analytics use cases.
• Generate insights from large datasets to inform optimal decision making
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance monitoring dashboards and reports with key performance indicators for early warning and decision making
• Transform complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations and storytelling
• Implement functional capabilities to enable business users access and utilization of information and insights in the form of self-serve dashboards and reports within overall data governance framework.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities where AI, machine learning, and automation can improve services or internal business processes.
• Monitor emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices to inform innovation initiatives.
• Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and pilot projects, from ideation to deployment.
• Support change management, training, and adoption of AI solutions across business units.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and priorities.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical audiences.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and department heads, providing insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.

Continuous Learning and Mentoring:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in data analysis, visualization and AI.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, digital application solution design and testing or a related role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, tools and applications with experience deploying AI solutions in real-world business environments will have added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in sports/events/customer experience analytics is a plus.
