About the role
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders and drive the people agenda in alignment with organizational priorities.
The role partners closely with senior management and HR Centers of Excellence to translate business strategies into effective workforce, organization, talent, and culture initiatives. The successful candidate will provide both strategic counsel and hands-on leadership across workforce planning, organization effectiveness, talent management, performance, employee engagement, change management, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnership
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders to understand business priorities, challenges, and workforce requirements.
- Translate business strategies into practical people plans that strengthen organizational capabilities and support sustainable growth.
- Provide strategic advice and constructive challenge to leaders on organization, talent, culture, leadership, and employee-related matters.
- Use business and workforce insights to proactively identify people risks, capability gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Represent the People & Culture function in business planning and leadership discussions.
Workforce Planning and Organization Effectiveness
- Lead workforce planning in partnership with business leaders, including headcount planning, capability assessment, succession requirements, and critical-role identification.
- Advise on organization structures, role design, spans of control, and workforce deployment to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Support business transformation, restructuring, and change initiatives, ensuring that people implications are appropriately assessed and managed.
- Partner with leaders to build future-ready capabilities aligned with evolving business needs.
Talent and Performance Management
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and career development initiatives across assigned business units.
- Facilitate discussions on talent identification, performance differentiation, development priorities, and succession readiness.
- Coach managers in setting clear performance expectations, providing effective feedback, and managing underperformance.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to develop workforce and recruitment strategies for critical and leadership positions.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to address capability gaps and strengthen leadership pipelines.
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, organizational culture, and overall employee experience.
- Analyze engagement feedback and workforce trends, translating findings into targeted action plans with business leaders.
- Champion company values and support leaders in building inclusive, accountable, and high-performing teams.
- Act as a change partner for organizational initiatives by supporting stakeholder engagement, communication, and employee adoption.
Employee Relations and Governance
- Provide sound and balanced advice on complex employee relations, performance, disciplinary, grievance, and workplace matters.
- Coach managers on handling sensitive employee situations fairly, consistently, and in accordance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to manage employee relations risks and ensure appropriate documentation and resolution.
- Ensure consistent application of People & Culture policies, practices, and governance standards across the assigned business units.
People Analytics and Strategic Insights
- Monitor key workforce indicators, including headcount, turnover, retention, engagement, performance, and talent risks.
- Translate people data into actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.
- Prepare workforce reports, management presentations, and strategic updates to support leadership decision-making.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of people initiatives and recommend improvements based on business outcomes and employee feedback.
HR Program Delivery and Continuous Improvement
- Partner with People & Culture Centers of Excellence to ensure the effective delivery of talent acquisition, rewards, learning, talent management, and employee experience initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional People & Culture projects, transformation programs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that core employee lifecycle processes—including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, and offboarding—are effectively governed and continuously improved.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes, systems, and service delivery while maintaining a strong employee and manager experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial experience in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR generalist role. Senior Manager candidates should demonstrate experience partnering with senior leadership and managing complex organizational agendas.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to commercial and operational priorities.
- Proven experience in workforce planning, organization effectiveness, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, change management, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor laws, HR governance, and employee relations practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and challenge senior stakeholders with credibility and sound judgment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and develop practical, insight-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex or sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
