Job Description

Responsible for leading and managing group's sourcing strategy and policy for Minor International, particularly Minor Hotel business arm. The primary objective is to manage Procurement practice and its group-wide spending strategically, and professionally that enable achievement on business growth flexibility, and financial maximization, while promoting integrity, transparency, and risk management. This requires an intense and broad range of knowledge of both local & international supply chain capabilities and the ability to structurally analyse and influence all business partners at both BU and Corporate levels to meet business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define group's sourcing strategy, and category strategy across Global and Regional categories that best enable growth and flexibility for BUs while maximizing financial values
  • Manage demand aggregation and encourage scale leverage across brands, regions and ownership models
  • Own cost savings target and drive savings delivery with BUs to archive financial target while maintaining customer experience and operational excellence
  • Act as policy and process owner, define procurement policies, approval thresholds, ethical sourcing standards, and compliance requirements; support Coperama in expanding to new regions/categories
  • Be the custodian of group-wide spend visibility, savings tracking and supplier performance dashboards, driving digitalization and continuously evolving tools in line with market innovation
  • Change Management champion - Lead collaborative engagement with key stakeholders from both BU level (each property) and regional corporates (from C suites, BU management to Operations) on implementing any new strategy and new initiatives, and its change management
  • Continuous Improvement champion Proactively identify opportunities to further sharpen organizational and business capabilities (system, process, people), and lead its group-wide Sourcing continuous improvement with key stakeholders
  • Lead strategic partnerships with global and regional preferred suppliers

Job Profile:

Job Specifications:

Qualification and Experience:

  • Strategic business acumen, with strong leadership and hyper-collaboration skills
  • At least 8 years work experience in international hotel chain in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, or Business Management fields
  • At least 5 years work experience Global / Regional management team in Supply Chain Management, Procurement/Sourcing fields
  • Must have successful record in Global/Regional business leader role, leading strategy implementation with BU management team
  • Must have successful record in a managerial position with people development
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices and procedures preferred, as well as experience with supply system.
  • Strong project management and execution skill.
  • Good command of English and computer literacy.
