About the Role
This is a 100% work-from-home role based in Thailand, offering comprehensive training, career growth, and the opportunity to make a real difference by helping people communicate without language barriers.
Responsibilities
- Interpret live voice conversations accurately and professionally.
- Support video interpretation after successfully completing the 3-month probation period.
- Facilitate communication between doctors and patients, bankers and clients, police officers, immigration officers, insurance representatives, social service providers, and other professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and accuracy throughout every interaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring clear and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and listening).
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience.
- Candidates with qualifications below a bachelor's degree must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience.
- Willing to relocate and be based in Thailand.
- Able to work permanent night shifts.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- No prior interpreting experience required – comprehensive training provided.
- Previous interpreting or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Must pass a language assessment before joining the training programe.
- Must successfully complete a final assessment after the 3-week training programe.
- Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps.
Preferred Skills
- Previous interpreting or customer service experience is an advantage.
Pay range and compensation package
- Basic monthly package up to THB 55,000.
