Job Description

  • Perform Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process which involves responsibilities like performing customer identification and verification, conducting risk assessments, monitoring transactions for suspicious activity, maintaining accurate client records, collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance, staying updated on regulations, and supporting audits.
  • Analyze Client data, documentation and negative news in order to determine Client Risk Profile as established under the Bank Procedures
  • Communication with officers and other employees involved in the maintenance of internal control standards
  • Name Screening on Customers and related parties against Bank databased / the global database in order to identify whether such entities/individuals are true hit any adverse news.
  • Perform Source of Wealth (SOW) analyst on high risk clients to investigates a client's overall financial history and activities (collecting bank statements, tax returns, and business records) to determine and verify the legitimate origin of their total assets and net worth, such as from employment, business profits, or inheritance, in order to help the Bank prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

Qualifications

  • The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and other regulatory standards.
  • Minimum three years of relevant working experience
  • Able to deal with pressure & high volume of requests
  • Preferable for knowledge of various types of Business entities - limited, private and public companies, holding companies, hedge funds, asset managers, Foundations, etc.
