Reports to: Manager of ME / Head of ME

Function: Manufacturing Engineering

Work Location/Site: Lamphun / HSOT

Role Overview

Our client, a leading IOL manufacturer, seeks an Engineer to support design transfer and process

qualification. The role involves qualifying new or modified processes and equipment, monitoring

installations, maintaining test equipment, and managing documentation. Candidates should

have strong engineering expertise and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

To qualify and prepare reports related to installation of new process and /or new

equipment and changed process and/or equipment.

To monitor and prepare report after installation of new process and /or new equipment

and changed process and/or equipment.

To maintain test equipment for Manufacturing Engineering and keep records and

relevant documentation.

Requirements

Experience

Experience in medical device is preferred.

Skills/Accreditations

Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.

Logical thinking based on engineering background.

Basic project management skill to lead/participate cross functional group activities

(mainly consists of R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) for new

product and process installation.

Strong interpersonal skills, strong communication and teamwork skills.

Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Highly organized and positive attitude.

Communication with local staff in English. Mandarin is a plus. Japanese is also a plus, but

a big advantage.

Academic Qualifications

Background in Engineering (either mechanical, industrial, optical, chemical, biological, or

system engineering)
