Manufacturing Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in operation team at our location in Rayong, Thailand.

What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:

•  Lead ME organization in plant and lead/support launching new products (OLM)

• Support serial production to continuously achieve targets for 6 vital KPIs

• Implement defined business processes and technology standards (planned c.t, OEE, routings, energy efficiency, smart factory and I4.0, Technical Delivery Specifications)

• Target setting and tracking of Smart Factory KPIs and alignment on countermeasures (short and mid term solutions)

• Fulfil Production IT Security requirements on a daily basis

• Drives and coordinates all plant internal projects which are related to Digitalization / Industry 4.0 Maturity Roadmap​

• Set standard for production equipment and drive new generation process innovation with frugal ideas

• Maintain relationship with equipment vendors and effective negotiation

• Problem solving and process improvement 

• Constant attention to manufacturing process design

• Respond to customer claims / reported incidents and internal rejections

• Design process Pokayoke as necessary

• Define/monitor process related quality issues

• Cycle time management, Man-Machine balancing and Process capability analysis

• New product introduction  and Jig and Fixture design for New project

• Provide New machine/ jig/ fixture/ and tooling guidelines to the team

• Designing and adjusting current machine drawings

• Create BOM ,BOO and Update SAP

Your Profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:

•  5+ Yrs process/ manufacturing technology experience

• Working experience in Digitalization/smart factory (mandate)

• Understanding of IT system interrelationships and IT architectures (preferable)

• Basic SQL & Database handling (Experience in Labview preferable)

• Able to operate software : Auto CAD (or) Solid work (preferable)

• Assembly process design with Lean methodology

• Knowledge of IATF16949

• Able to read and assess engineering drawing (GD&T)
