Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer
On-site, Based in Rayong, Thailand

Job Responsibilities:
1. New Project Launch & Tooling Development
- Manage equipment installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing (Sewing & Cutting machines) while validating process capability and capacity.
- Design, plan, and procure production tooling, jigs, molds, and optimize material layout on the shop floor.
2. Mass Production & Quality Engineering
- Develop and update core technical documentation: PFMEA, ODS, Process Flow Charts, and maintain BOM data accuracy.
- Set up and tune sewing process parameters, monitor indices, line balance, and lead continuous quality improvements.
- Drive VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) cost-reduction initiatives and efficiency improvement projects.
3. Hands-on Equipment Maintenance & TPM
- Provide immediate troubleshooting and repair for sewing machines and automatic cutting beds during downtime failures.
- Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, manage spare parts inventory, and fully execute TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on breakdowns and track critical equipment KPIs (MTBF / MTTR).
4. Plant Utilities & Facility Management
- Oversee and schedule maintenance for essential plant utilities, including air compressors, HVAC/air conditioning, and water supply systems, to ensure uninterrupted production.
5. Safety & Quality Compliance
- Enforce strict LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols and safety procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Identify workplace hazards, implement safety protections, and lead non-conformity closures for internal/external audits (e.g., IATF 16949).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Design, or related fields.
- Experience: 3+ years in sewing/stitching processes or 3+ years in automotive parts equipment maintenance (hands-on sewing machine repair preferred).
- Technical Skills: CAD, Catia, PLC programming (Siemens/Mitsubishi), HMI, and core quality tools (PFMEA, DFM, IATF 16949, TPM).
- Certification: Valid Low-Voltage Electrician License.
- Languages: Functional English (reading, writing, speaking)
