Overseas Manufacturing Manager/Director
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the formulation and execution of production plans for overseas factories, balancing order requirements, production capacity, and inventory levels to ensure timely, high-quality, and quantity-compliant product delivery.
- Implement quality standards, cost control, and safety management in the production process to achieve production targets.
- Lead lean improvement initiatives in the factory, promote the establishment of lean systems, optimize factory production line layouts, achieve balanced production, improve efficiency, and reduce defects and waste.
- Collaborate with the China-based supply chain management team, coordinate overseas supply chain management, optimize procurement costs, logistics efficiency, and inventory turnover rates, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Drive automation innovation and digital transformation, introduce advanced concepts such as smart manufacturing and information-based operations to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of overseas factories.
- Respond promptly to and resolve unexpected issues at overseas factories (e.g., equipment failures, production accidents, labor problems), minimizing their impact on production operations.
- Establish the organizational structure of the overseas manufacturing team, oversee recruitment and development of key positions, and build a high-performing team with cross-cultural collaboration capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, including at least 5 years in overseas manufacturing management.
- Experience in overseas factory setup, capacity expansion, automation implementation, or related projects in multinational or large manufacturing enterprises; experience in the optoelectronics industry is preferred.
- Proficient in core manufacturing management skills such as production planning, on-site management, quality control, cost optimization, and supply chain coordination.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
- Capable of adapting to long-term overseas assignments, with proficiency in English or Thai as an advantage.
- Familiar with the introduction and optimization of mainstream manufacturing processes in the optical module industry and knowledgeable about cutting-edge directions for next-generation advanced processes.
