Role Overview:
This position supports Test Engineering team in replicating, validating, and productionizing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and electromechanical test systems through third-party suppliers. The engineer will bridge engineering design requirements and manufacturing execution, ensuring equipment is properly documented, assembled, validated, and transferred into production.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Equipment Replication & Productionization
- Work closely with Test Engineering Team and suppliers to transfer tester designs into production.
- Extract requirements from multiple stakeholders and existing systems.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, work instructions, and supporting documentation.
- Support validation and qualification of test equipment in Thailand.
Manufacturing & Build Support
- Bring up and troubleshoot Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- Coordinate equipment builds, assembly, rework activities, and quality inspections.
- Support hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collect data, report results, and communicate technical findings.
Electromechanical Assembly
- Install and integrate electrical and electronic hardware.
- Perform wiring, cable routing, and equipment assembly.
- Work with:
- Oscilloscopes
- Power supplies
- Digital meters
- Test probes
- Electronic instrumentation
- Perform mechanical alignment and assembly using hand tools and fixtures.
Documentation & Communication
- Develop build documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
- Coordinate with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers.
- Provide regular project status updates to global engineering teams.
- Communicate effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in: Electrical, Electronics or related Engineering
- 8-10 years of relevant experience & strong background in:
- Manufacturing support
- Electromechanical assembly
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Basic CAD experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Working location is based in Chonburi
