Senior POI Editor (Map)

Employment Type: Direct contract under client (Extendable / Renewable based on performance)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Model: Hybrid

Salary: RM 4,700 RM 4,900 (Basic / Month)

Job Expectations

High proficiency in written and spoken Thai, with strong English communication skills.

Basic understanding of online maps, navigation systems, and end-user mapping applications.

Ability to perform online research, analyze data from multiple sources, and validate information.

Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Quality-driven mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strict adherence to deadlines, productivity, and efficiency without compromising quality.

Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.

Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts (if required).

Skills & Qualifications

Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline.

Prior experience with map applications (Apple Maps, Google Maps, HERE, TomTom, etc.) is an added advantage.

Strong research and data validation skills, using multiple information sources.

Experience in quality verification, auditing, or content validation is a plus.

Ability to identify errors/defects and accurately validate POI attributes as per defined guidelines and policies.

Ensure high accuracy of POI data by cross-referencing websites, imagery, and other reliable sources.

Excellent Thai language proficiency (written & verbal) with working English communication skills.

Basic capability to digitize, create, edit, and evaluate POIs, AOIs, linear and polygonal geometry using real-world imagery.

Sound analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
