Marine Subject Matter Expert
Leader role for the Marine and Hull component of the Marine Business Segment of Aon Thailand. Assist the Head of Commercial Risk to devise Marine business development strategy for Aon Thailand. Lead the agreed broking strategies, in collaboration with Aon Regional/Global colleagues and international carriers, to ensure a clear path to successful business development outcomes and growth.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Establishing a business plan to build up Marine and Hull business portfolio for Aon Thailand.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities via new and / or expanded business relating to the Marine Specialty in Thailand.
- Establishing and monitoring pipelines and sales target for Marine and Hull sector.
- Providing advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available coverage and capacity, likely pricing, potential coverage enhancements and market progress within scope of responsibility.
- Collaborating with Aon Regional/Global Broking Centers per overall business goals & objectives to deliver our value proposition at all times in an Aon United manner.
- Developing, maintaining, and managing senior relationships with key Marine clients, prospects, and markets.
- Advocating and delivering thought leadership, best practice, and industry technical expertise to clients, prospects, and colleagues.
- Identifying and keeping up to date with sector and market trends relative to Marine clients and prospects.
- Managing and servicing a portfolio of Marine accounts and ensure its financial sustainability and growth.
- Client retention as well as revenue growth through penetration (organic growth), new sales initiatives and cross selling.
- Day to day point of contact for clients in the portfolio on addressing queries.
- Supporting and/or handling claims administration, management, and advocacy.
- Driving external marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and promote Marine and Hull solutions to prospective clients and industry stakeholders.
- Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- At least 7+ years experiencein the Marine insurance sector and client account management, preferably Marine Cargo and Hull spaces.
- Demonstrated business development track record, including executive business decision-maker contacts, C-level sales, advanced negotiation, deal structuring, and sales contract experience preferred
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders
- Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
- Fluency in Thai and English is required.
