At AccelerAsia, the Market Development Executive (MDE) role is about being a true originator of deals; an orchestrator who knows how to generate new conversations and create real opportunities across multiple channels. You'll blend strategic outreach, social selling, hosting events, attending conferences, and our AccelerAsia network to connect with decision-makers.
Beyond that, you'll also co-pilot deals from start to finish alongside experienced sales leaders, gaining firsthand experience in deal-making.

What You'll Do
You'll work closely with a Market Development Manager (MDM), supporting deals from first contact all the way through to close as a co-pilot, while also owning pipeline generation across a mix of high impact channels such as cold outreach, events, roundtables, conferences, and channel partnerships.
- Intel Gathering: Organisation mapping, stakeholder profiles, and tracking company updates to sharpen our approach
- Opportunity Generation: Proactively drive top-of-funnel activity by engaging with prospects through a mix of online and offline channels, including organising roundtables, curating event invites, selecting relevant conferences, and initiating referral networks.
- Network Building: Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and influencers across industries
- Market Development Strategy Support: Collaborate with MDMs to shape and execute go-to-market strategies
- Deal Progression: Stay involved from first touch to close, ensuring continuity and value throughout
- Operational Support: Keep CRM, notes, and event follow-ups clean, up to date, and actionable
- Market Learning: Gain deep insight into Southeast Asia's market dynamics and build essential commercial skills.
Your Starting Point You'll begin by working on one or two client accounts. You'll learn their products, map ideal targets, and partner with the MDM to identify and work strategic accounts. You'll be expected to show up with ideas, own your prep, and take the lead in expanding multi-threading throughout and stakeholder expansion that makes a real difference in deals.

Who Are We Looking For
This isn't a role where you wait to be told what to do. You'll be expected to think, move, and own your work from day one. You'll do well here if:
- You're resourceful. You figure things out before asking for the answer
- You think about accounts strategically, not just contacts on a list
- You can write personalised outreach emails and messages that sounds like a person, not a template
- You're comfortable in being uncomfortable
- You want to learn how deals actually work, not just fill a pipeline and hand it off.
Hard Skills & Experience Snapshot
The right candidate will bring the following:
- 1–2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or similar commercial roles in B2B tech or SaaS
- Strong working knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot)
- Experience with B2B outreach across channels (email, LinkedIn, phone, events, partnerships)
- Comfortable with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and similar prospecting tools
- Understand how a sales pipeline works and what makes an opportunity worth progressing
- Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language (Bahasa Indonesia, or Thai, or Tagalog)
