Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-oriented Market Development Manager to support the expansion of our Thailand operations and address opportunities from adjacent country markets.

The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, with a particular emphasis on the evolving Content Delivery, Cloud Computing and AI industries in these markets, and the related ecosystems. The Market Development Manger will be responsible for developing client relationships, supporting strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the Digital Infrastructure / Telecommunications space.

This position will work closely with regional leadership, project, and operational teams to support both immediate commercial objectives and longer-term market expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within Thailand and neighbouring countries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, carriers, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Drive pipeline generation and support conversion of commercial opportunities
  • Prepare commercial proposals, presentations, and client engagement materials
  • Support contract discussions and commercial negotiations

Market & Industry Development

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Identify emerging opportunities within telecommunications, ISP, data centre, fibre, or digital infrastructure sectors
  • Develop market intelligence and contribute to strategic growth planning

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key relationship contact for clients and strategic partners
  • Coordinate internally with operations, finance, projects, and management teams to support client requirements
  • Support management in strategic discussions and regional initiatives

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales Director, Project teams, and Country Management
  • Support forecasting, reporting, and business planning activities
  • Assist in refining commercial processes and market positioning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development within telecommunications, ISP, connectivity, infrastructure, or related technology sectors
  • Strong Thailand market familiarity and local business network
  • Exposure to telecom operators, ISPs, data centre operators, digital infrastructure players, or providers of related technology services
  • Understanding of current developments in Thailand around data centres, content delivery, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and related ecosystems
  • Experience engaging enterprise and corporate customers
  • Fluency in Thai and English is mandatory
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently in a lean and fast-evolving environment
  • Familiarity with regional business environments is advantageous
  • Some local and regional travel may be required
