We are looking for passionate professionals who are excited to solve complex challenges, drive innovation, and create solutions that will shape the future of energy.
Role Summary
Provide the evidence base behind pricing and competitive positioning. This role turns scattered market, cost and tender data into clear diagnostics, benchmarks and dashboards. It gives the strategy and engineering teams hard numbers to understand the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis & diagnostics — Pull together cost, tariff, tender and supply data. Clean it, analyse it and surface what matters for pricing.
- Market benchmarking — Track module, tracker, inverter and BESS prices, EPC rates and winning tariffs. Benchmark numbers against the market.
- Tender intelligence — Maintain a database of past and live Solar RTC / FDRE / hybrid tenders, bidders, tariffs, terms, outcomes.
- Dashboards — Build and maintain interactive dashboards that put market and relevant data in front of leadership in real time.
- Automation — Use coding and scripting to automate data collection, cleaning and reporting so insight is fast and repeatable.
- Competitive positioning — Profile key competitors — capacity, pipeline, bid behaviour — and flag where they are likely to be aggressive.
- Reporting — Turn analysis into crisp, visual briefs for the management to act on quickly.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10 years in data analytics, market intelligence or research, ideally in solar / renewables / power.
- Strong skills in data analysis, diagnostics and benchmarking.
- Coding experience strongly preferred — e.g. Python, SQL or similar — for data work and automation.
- Hands-on at building interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
- Genuinely comfortable with large, messy datasets.
- Understands solar EPC cost structure and the tender market well enough to know what the data means.
- B.E. / B.Tech or degree in a quantitative field; analytics or data-science certification is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical and quantitative mind.
- Codes and automates rather than doing everything by hand.
- Turns raw numbers into a clear, visual story for decision-makers.
- Curious about the market and rigorous about accuracy.
