Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily surveillance operations, ensuring all activities meet compliance and efficiency standards.
- Lead initiatives to improve the surveillance framework, identifying emerging market risks and updating processes accordingly.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance, providing training and guidance to the team on advanced surveillance techniques.
- Generate and present detailed reports on surveillance findings to senior management, offering recommendations for mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure seamless alignment of market oversight strategies.
- Identify trends in market activities, using data-driven insights to develop new monitoring tactics and processes.
- Ensure the team is up-to-date on regulatory changes and conducts regular training to stay compliant.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- 4-5 years of experience in market surveillance.
- Expertise in market surveillance and knowledge of digital asset regulations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, capable of interacting with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to implement change management and improve processes within a dynamic regulatory environment.
- Experience in handling escalated investigations and resolving complex issues.
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration.
