Job Description

Lead analytics initiatives leveraging Modern Trade shopper and consumer insight data to deliver actionable insights that enhance marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement an end-to-end analytics roadmap built on an integrated data platform to enhance marketing performance, CRM initiatives, customer retention, and operational effectiveness
  • Build and deploy analytical frameworks and models that generate actionable insights into customer behavior, product performance, and evolving market dynamics
  • Lead and coach a team of data analysts in evaluating internal data, market movements, and competitor information while improving data collection processes and reporting standards
  • Perform advanced statistical and quantitative analysis to drive optimization of pricing strategies, inventory planning, and promotional effectiveness
  • Oversee the integration of data from diverse sources and collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to deliver analytical insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Discover opportunities to strengthen customer segmentation, personalization strategies, and overall customer experience through data-driven insights
  • Translate analytical outcomes into clear dashboards (concept), reports, and visual storytelling for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Present complex data findings in a concise and persuasive manner, providing strategic recommendations that influence business direction and decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence within FMCG and retail industry are preferred and/or career background in market research firm is a plus.
  • Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Power BI, Excel, SPSS, SAS)
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team of analysts in a dynamic environment
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving business value
