Overview
We are seeking a technically strong Marketing Engineer (Market Initiative Manager) to develop and execute integrated marketing programs that drive business growth in Singapore. This role combines technical marketing, campaign execution, sales collaboration, and performance analysis. It is an individual-contributor position with the potential to develop into a people-management role in the future.
Responsibilities
- Develop quarterly and annual marketing plans for the Singapore market.
- Plan and execute technical seminars, trade shows, webinars, e-direct mail campaigns, digital advertising, and web promotions.
- Partner closely with Sales to identify priority segments, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Localise regional and global marketing content for the Singapore market.
- Monitor campaign performance using metrics such as MQLs, pipeline contribution, conversion, and ROI.
- Analyse campaign effectiveness and apply insights to improve future initiatives.
- Track industry, technology, and competitor trends and provide market insights to management.
- Manage marketing budgets and coordinate with regional marketing and event teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in technical marketing, applications engineering, field engineering, business development, sales, or a related role.
- Relevant industry experience in at least one of the following: 1)High-speed digital technologies such as HDMI, USB, or Ethernet 2)AI infrastructure, data centres, or networking 3)Semiconductor.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing technical marketing campaigns or customer events.
- Good understanding of MQLs, pipeline contribution, campaign performance, and ROI.
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer-focused messages.
- Confident working independently and collaborating across Sales, Product Management, and regional Marketing teams.
- Demonstrated potential to take on future people-management responsibilities.
