Job Description

We're a fast-growing startup expanding across Southeast Asia, and Thailand is one of the markets we're most excited about. As our Marketing Intern Assistant (Thailand Market), you'll be the local voice behind our brand: shaping how we speak, look, and connect with Thai audiences across social media, campaigns, and events.

Responsibilities

  • 50% Social Media & Content Management Assist in managing brand social media channels targeting the Thai audience (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, LINE, TikTok, etc.)
  • Support writing and localizing social media posts and promotional content in Thai for campaigns and events
  • Assist with content scheduling, community engagement with Thai audiences, and performance tracking
  • Create simple visual assets using Canva to support social media and marketing campaigns
  • 20% AI Chatbot Setup Assist in building and configuring AI chatbots, including Thai-language conversational flows
  • Organize FAQs and content into natural, locally-relevant conversational flows
  • Support testing and optimizing chatbot responses for the Thai market
  • 20% Thailand Market Research & Exhibition SupportConduct research on the Thai market, including consumer behavior, social media trends, competitors, and cultural insights, to support marketing strategy and content direction
  • Assist with pre- and post-event support for exhibitions and marketing activities in Thailand and the broader SEA region
  • Support partner communication and cross-border coordination with Thai stakeholders
  • 10% Other Marketing Support Tasks Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed

Working Hours

  • Minimum of 2 days per week
  • Approximately 16 hours per week

Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Thai (both written and verbal) — required for content creation and local communication
  • Good English communication skills (for internal work discussions and written communication)
  • Genuine passion for social media marketing — actively follows trends, enjoys creating content, and loves experimenting with new platforms and formats
  • Proficient in Canva with basic design skills — able to independently produce clean, on-brand social media visuals
  • Curious about the Thai market — enjoys researching local consumer behavior, trends, and culture, and translating insights into content ideas
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude toward clarification and feedback
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

  • Additional language abilities (e.g., Japanese, Malay, Indonesian, Mandarin)
  • Strong interest in marketing, branding, technology, AI, or the startup ecosystem
  • Familiar with tools such as Notion and Google Workspace
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Design background or a strong sense of visual aesthetics

  • Time Management & Ownership: Able to prioritize multiple tasks, take responsibility for assigned work, and deliver results on time with clear updates.
  • Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable adjusting to startup dynamics and cross-border projects, staying calm amid changes, and willing to experiment and iterate.
