Job Description

ABOUT NETZEROCARBON

NetZeroCarbon helps organizations measure, reduce, and offset their environmental impact through high-integrity carbon credit projects, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and clear, credible environmental communications. We work at the intersection of climate science, market mechanisms, and storytelling — turning sustainability commitments into measurable action. As we grow, we are looking for a commercially driven marketer who can also sell: someone who understands the climate agenda deeply and can translate it into new business.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Marketing & Sales Executive is a hybrid commercial role. You will build and own a pipeline of clients for our carbon credit, REC, and environmental communication services — from first outreach through to closing the deal — while shaping the marketing content and campaigns that generate demand. You will be equally comfortable presenting to a corporate sustainability team, writing a compelling proposal in fluent English, and traveling to meet clients and visit project sites. This is a high-ownership position for someone who wants to grow revenue and the climate mission at the same time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Sales & business development: Identify, approach, and win new clients for carbon credit, REC, and environmental communication projects; manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.

•  Pipeline ownership: Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, track opportunities in the CRM, and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

•  Marketing & demand generation: Plan and execute marketing campaigns, content, and events (digital and in-person) that raise NetZeroCarbon's profile and generate qualified leads.

•  Client relationships: Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate sustainability, procurement, and communications teams; understand their net-zero goals and match them to the right solutions.

•  Proposals & pitching: Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and commercial offers in polished English; present confidently to senior stakeholders.

•  Environmental communication: Craft clear, accurate messaging around carbon credits, RECs, and sustainability that avoids greenwashing and builds client trust.

•  Market intelligence: Monitor developments in voluntary and compliance carbon markets, REC standards, and climate policy to inform positioning and spot new opportunities.

•  Travel & representation: Represent NetZeroCarbon at client meetings, project sites, industry conferences, and networking events, domestically and regionally.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

•  Minimum 2 years of proven sales or business development experience, ideally B2B and with a track record of hitting targets.

•  Excellent English, written and spoken — able to write proposals and present to international clients with confidence.

•  Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and events (domestic and regional).

•  Strong interest in — or existing knowledge of — carbon credits, RECs, sustainability, and environmental issues.

•  Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a persuasive, relationship-driven style.

•  Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable owning targets and working independently.

•  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Environmental Science, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

•  Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, and common digital marketing platforms.

PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE

•  Experience selling sustainability, energy, ESG, consulting, or environmental services.

•  Familiarity with carbon standards and registries (e.g. Verra / VCS, Gold Standard, I-REC) and voluntary carbon market dynamics.

•  An existing network among corporate sustainability, energy, or CSR decision-makers.

•  Additional language skills (e.g. Thai and a regional language) are an advantage.

WHAT WE OFFER

•  A meaningful role at the front line of the climate transition, with real impact.

•  Competitive base salary plus a performance-based commission / incentive scheme.

•  Exposure to a fast-growing carbon and clean-energy market and a mission-driven team.

•  Opportunities for travel, professional development, and career growth as the company scales.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Please send your CV and a short cover letter (in English) explaining why you are a strong fit for this role to [Confidential Information]. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submissions are encouraged. We thank all applicants; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
