The Specialist, Marketing will be responsible for executing marketing activities in Thailand, including event management, digital marketing, and sales enablement. The role focuses on driving brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth through targeted campaigns. The incumbent will ensure all activities align with ZEISS's strategic goals and SEA revenue growth targets.
Tradeshow and Event Support
- Event Planning and Execution: Plan and implement marketing events such as roadshows, seminars, and customer workshops across Bangkok and upcountry provinces. This includes developing event concepts, coordinating schedules, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead small to medium-scale marketing activities while supporting the Manager in coordinating with external partners (agencies, business partners, production houses, event organizers).
- Logistics Management: Handle venue selection, vendor coordination, attendee communications, and on-site setup. Ensure smooth operations and adherence to ZEISS standards during events.
- On-Site Support: Provide hands-on support during events (tradeshows, seminars, roadshows). Act as the primary contact for participants and vendors to ensure a seamless experience.
Communication and Campaign Management
- Social Media Management: Manage Thailand's social media platforms (Facebook and LINE). Create engaging content, monitor audience interaction, and analyze performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.
- Website Content Updates: Regularly update the website with relevant content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with marketing campaigns and business objectives.
- Multi-Channel Campaign Execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across channels (social media, email, digital advertising, print). Collaborate with internal teams to tailor campaigns to the local market and deliver measurable results.
- Content Creation: Write, proofread, and create marketing assets (newsletters, brochures, promotional materials, website content). Ensure all materials align with ZEISS branding guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
Sales Enablement
- Localization of Marketing Materials: Translate and adapt marketing materials into Thai to ensure relevance for the local market.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track success metrics to measure campaign effectiveness; generate regular reports.
- Competitor Analysis: Track competitors activities and provide insights via reports to inform strategy.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaboration with Regional Teams: Work with other SEA marketing teams and regional
- colleague to align local and regional goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 year experience in Marketing, Communications Or related fields the position preferably from B2B sector.
- Proven experience of project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Hands-on experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media tools
- Experience with event management for trade shows or brand activation campaigns.
- Solid understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and brand CI management, visual identity systems, and brand consistency principles.
- Proficiency communication in English skills both written and verbal
- Experience with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
