Material Planning Engineer

About the Team

We are looking for a new colleague in Supply Chain team at our location in Rayong, Thailand.

What you can look forward to as a Material Planning Engineer:

• Update Weekly, Monthly Order/ Forecast for all customers and share to team.

• Keep tracking for Order/Forecast fluctuation.

• Confirmation Customer delivery based on MPS and MRP with Inventory and cost management.

• Daily tracking for on time delivery to all of customer.

• Negotiation with customer for all effects to customer delivery.

• Manage the business forecast over 1 year for MPS and MRP.

• Weekly/Monthly/Yearly MPS Plan to make for Production capacity, Packaging, Materials Leadtime, Inventory management and Transportation Cost.

• Daily tracking for production plan and actual to make sure no effects to customer delivery, production line stop and material shortage in plant.

• Coordinate with cross function for any effect to material, production, customer delivery.

• Weekly/Monthly/Yearly MRP Plan to make sure Material available for production , Material lead time , inventory management and Freight cost.

• Follow up Material on time to plant without any shortage to production and Delivery to customers.

• Ensure that Material arrival to plant on time with Inventory managements.

• Shortage management and allocation for Thailand plant.

• Ensure all change smoothly both process and material.

• Ensure maintenance of planning parameters.

• Ensure smoothly flow in plants both communication flow and systems flows are match.

• Inventory management for Finished Goods, Materials and Goods in-transit at weekly, monthly and Yearly.

• Perform Daily, Weekly, Month-end closing and Yearly reporting to Leader.

• Participate in Improvement activities , provide ideas for process optimization and perform other assignments from Leader.

Your Profile as a Material Planning Engineer:

• Bachelor's or Higher Degree in Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

• At least +5 years of working experience in Planning skills for Production planning , Material planning, Demand planning.

• Have work experience in automotive industry and manufacturing company

• English Communication for both Writing and Communication.

• Expert in Excel formula and Knowledge in MS Application, such as MS Word & MS Excel.

• Experience in SAP, ERP, Planning Systems.

• Import-Export and BOI Knowledge

• Excellent communication skill

• Wiling to learn, Flexible for any change.
