Are you a supply chain leader who transforms data into decisions and keeps manufacturing operations running without missing a beat
As Department Manager – MRP, you will own the full Material Requirement Planning function at i-TAIL's Samut Sakhon plant — from inventory strategy and ERP system integrity to supplier performance and cross-functional alignment. This role reports to the Senior Department Manager – Supply Chain and oversees a team of Section Managers and Planning Officers.
What you will do:
- Analyse demand forecasts, maintain Master Production Scheduling (MPS), set inventory policies (safety stock, EOQ), and build supply risk contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted production
- Ensure BOM and lead-time data integrity within the ERP/MRP system; generate planning orders and management reports; upskill team on system usage
- Serve as the primary integration point across Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Sales; participate in S&OP meetings and resolve material escalations
- Lead, coach, and performance-manage Section Managers and Planning Officers; build a continuous improvement culture within the team
- Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics, communicate long-term forecasts, and resolve recurring supply issues in close coordination with the Procurement team
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering; candidates with strong direct experience are welcome to apply
- 5+ years in material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment (food, non-food accepted)
- 10+ years of supervisory or management experience at manager level
- Advanced ERP/MRP system proficiency with demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and generate actionable reports
- Strong data analysis capability and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
