Data Centre Logistics and Material Lead
Scope of Works and Deliverables:
- Candidate to be based in Thailand
- Candidate should have 10 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in English and Thai (Writing, Reading, Speaking skills)
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with construction teams and suppliers to align material delivery schedules with project timelines and milestones.
- Implement and monitor material tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting of stock levels, usage rates, and reordering needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all logistics and material handling activities.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and minimize delays or disruptions.
- Manage logistics budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall project financial plans.
- Lead the development of logistics contingency plans to mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, or material shortages.
- Evaluate and select third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements to support project needs.
- Support the procurement team by providing insights into lead times, delivery constraints, and supplier performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Develop and maintain logistics KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor logistics staff to build capability and ensure adherence to best practices.
