Job Description

  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain structured maintenance schedules to ensure long-term reliability and optimal equipment condition.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures using strong troubleshooting skills to reduce breakdown frequency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians to ensure effective problem-solving and execution.
  • Perform equipment repairs, overhauls, and component replacements to restore functionality and extend asset life.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, safety procedures, and maintenance standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize equipment reliability and overall plant availability.
  • Support reliability initiatives and contribute to the overall performance of the maintenance function.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce operational downtime.
  • Apply data-driven analysis to improve maintenance strategies and optimize lifecycle cost management.
  • Promote best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to enhance maintenance processes and improve system performance.
  • Analyze maintenance costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditures without compromising safety or quality.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies such as spare parts optimization, improved scheduling, and downtime reduction.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to maintenance team members to support skill development and career growth.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes to strengthen the maintenance team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with HR to support training and development programs for maintenance staff.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with team members and stakeholders across all levels.
  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Promote and actively support safety programs to build a strong safety culture across operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into processes and improvements.
  • Identify potential risks and implement actions to prevent unsafe conditions and incidents.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Possess a valid mechanical engineering license where required.
  • Have at least 7 years of experience in maintenance or reliability within a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
  • Apply reliability engineering principles, statistical analysis, and data interpretation to improve performance.
  • Show ability to solve complex technical issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Have experience with reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of condition monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, infrared, and tribology.
  • Understand industry standards and best practices related to maintenance cost optimization.
  • Have experience managing spare parts inventory, including stock optimization and cost control strategies.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in equipment repair, alignment, balancing, and mechanical modifications.
  • Possess knowledge of advanced data analytics or predictive maintenance tools, which is an advantage.
  • Be proficient in SAP or similar systems for maintenance and asset management.
  • Good command in English.
