Job Description

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support an Advanced Targeted Therapies portfolio in a competitive and evolving treatment landscape.

This role is responsible for scientific engagement across the full product lifecycle, from pre-launch preparation through launch execution and post-launch optimization, while maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Scientific Engagement & KOL Partnership (Ongoing Across All Stages)

  • Establish and maintain long-term, credible scientific relationships with KOLs, specialists, and academic institutions (Medical School)
  • Act as a trusted scientific partner in complex discussions involving:

- Institutional treatment pathways

- Formulary decisions

- System-driven therapy changes

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality scientific exchange across Rheumatology, Immunology, and relevant adjacent specialties.

Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure scientific alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support internal education on disease areas, emerging evidence, and evolving treatment landscapes.
  • Provide ongoing insights on guideline changes, healthcare system dynamics, and HCP perceptions.

Pre-Launch Phase (Market Preparation & Scientific Readiness)

  • Conduct disease-state education and scientific exchange aligned with pre-approval regulations.
  • Identify, map, and engage future key opinion leaders (KOLs) and priority institutions
  • Gather and synthesize early field medical insights to support:

- Medical strategy development

- Scientific narrative and evidence planning

- Launch readiness activities

  • Support internal cross-functional pre-launch planning by providing scientific input on:

- Unmet medical needs

- Treatment landscape and evolving standards of care

- Anticipated switching and sequencing considerations

Launch Phase (Scientific Activation & Early Adoption)

  • Lead high-quality peer-to-peer scientific exchange during the initial launch period
  • Support scientific education activities, including advisory boards, medical meetings, and launch symposia
  • Act as a trusted scientific partner in discussions around:

- Advanced targeted therapy positioning

- Treatment sequencing and early switching considerations

  • Address scientific questions related to comparative data, safety, and patient selection in a compliant, non-promotional manner

Post-Launch Phase (Optimization & Lifecycle Support)

  • Support ongoing real-world evidence and long-term safety discussions as clinical experience evolves
  • Navigate formulary-driven and policy-led treatment changes, maintaining scientific neutrality and credibility
  • Lead scientific discussions related to:

- Treatment optimization

- Switching and persistence

- Patient-level considerations in real-world practice

  • Continuously collect and communicate post-launch field insights to inform lifecycle management and future indication planning

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all scientific activities comply with local regulations, internal SOPs, and ethical standards

Pharmacovigilance:

  • Identify, document, and report adverse events and special situations in compliance with local PV requirements and internal SOPs
  • Reinforce adverse event reporting awareness during scientific interactions with HCPs and internal teams
  • Coordinate with PV and Medical teams to support ongoing safety monitoring and follow-up

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PharmD, PhD, MSc, or equivalent)
  • Experience as an MSL or Medical role in specialty advanced targeted therapiesportfolio. Proven Dermatology, Immunology,Gastroenterology (IBD) Oncology / Hematology can apply
  • Open to non MSL background but must win Dermatology, Immunology,Gastroenterology (IBD) in key medical school

Package and Benefits:

Offered fix compensation range 1.45MB to 1.7MB annum plus other monthly necessary allowance, performance bonus and other benefits.
