For this Project Coordinator (ME Or EE) - Chinese Speaking*
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Project Coordinator to bridge the gap between engineering, procurement, and project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical (ME/EE) engineering, combined with over a decade of expertise in coordination or purchasing within the construction industry.
*Working location is Chonburi, Thailand
*Working on Monday - Saturday
Job description
- Oversee the integration of Mechanical or Electrical (ME/EE) systems to ensure technical specifications align with overall project designs and structural requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for ME/EE equipment and materials, leveraging 10+ years of experience to optimize costs and lead times.
- Act as the primary communication bridge between Thai project teams and Chinese-speaking stakeholders, vendors, or headquarters to ensure seamless information flow.
- Lead the technical review of bids and negotiate contract terms with specialized subcontractors and international suppliers.
- Facilitate coordination between site engineers, architects, logistics, and accounting to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive project progress reports, purchase forecasts, and budget updates to senior management.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical or logistical bottlenecks between various departments and external contractors.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (ME, EE, or related field).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project coordination or purchasing within the construction/engineering sector.
- Experience in Data center is a big plus
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English is mandatory.
- Able to base at working site (Chonburi)
